Spend an amazing day exploring the beauty of Sian Ka’an, the first established Biosphere Reserve in Mexico. Home to countless plant and animal species, it is currently a UNESCO World Heritage site whose protection remains a high priority for Mexico.
The name Sian Ka’an is a Mayan phrase meaning, “where the sky is born.” While exploring this natural paradise, you will enjoy a boat ride through dense, beautiful mangrove canals and then visit a small archaeological site once used by the Mayans as a trading post. To cool off, the Reserve tour is followed by a unique swimming experience in a natural lazy river.
Afterwards, we will make our way towards a nice location by the beach where a delicious lunch will be served. (Optional)
Bathing suit, beach towel, walking shoes, sandals or diving shoes, hat, biodegradable sun protection or sun block, sunglasses, camera, binoculars, T-shirt and shorts, and money for gratuities and souvenirs
This expedition is not recommended for people with severe back problems, any severe physical or motor handicap, serious heart problems, or pregnant women.
