Mayan Communities and Chichen Itza
Truly one of our most culturally immersive experiences. Your day begins with a visit to a Mayan community, where you will walk on the main plaza and join in the daily activities of the locals. After your delightful encounter, you'll be taken on guided tours of one of the region's most magnificent convents as well as a local school, where the students are sure to extend a warm welcome to their classroom.
This unforgettable experience is followed by a tour of Chichen Itza, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Our certified guides will take you to the massive Kukulkan pyramid, whose construction was planned so that during each Vernal Equinox the dying sun would cast a shadow of a serpent (Mayan God Kukulkan) writhing down the steps of the pyramid.
In addition to receiving insight and expertise about ancient Mayan culture, you'll be treated to personalized service that will undoubtedly make this day one of the highlights of your time in Mexico.
