This expedition combines the mystery and magic of the Mayan underground world with the charm and beauty of the Caribbean Sea. Experience the most impressive underground cavern formations on the Mayan Riviera, slip into the crystal waters of the sacred underground sinkholes. As you snorkel, marvel yourself at the natural underwater formations of stalactites and stalagmites.

Later in the day, this expedition will take you to the largest known grotto formation in the Yucatan Peninsula. An easy walk through the cave will display five million years hidden in nature, you will witness the most amazing natural cavern formations and underground river system on The Mayan Riviera.

Afterwards, we will continue our expedition towards to a semi-virgin inlet and one of the best-kept secrets on the Mayan Riviera. The waters of this hidden paradise are clear, calm and inviting, making it a heaven for snorkelling. Underwater rock formations create a fascinating sub-aquatic terrain forming the ideal habitat for exotic marine creatures.

Restrictions:

This expedition is not recommended for people with severe back problems, any severe physical or motor handicap, serious heart problems, or for obese people. Children under 5 years, pregnant women and people under the effects of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate in this expedition.

What to bring to Your Expedition:

Bathing suit, beach towel, walking shoes, sandals or diving shoes, hat, biodegradable sun protection or sun block, sun glasses, camera, T-shirt and shorts, money for gratuities and souvenirs.
